Flights

Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez. Airport Code: MEX

If you’re flying into Mexico City, you’ll arrive at Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX), at either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, depending on your airline.

Both terminals at the airport have authorized taxi stands, and we highly recommend using this official service for a safe and hassle-free transfer. Look for the clearly marked “Transportación Terrestre” (Ground Transportation) booths inside the terminal—often located near or within the baggage claim area. You can purchase a pre-paid ticket there while waiting for your luggage. Just let the attendant know the name of your hotel to receive the correct fare (approximately $18 USD). Please note that the fare is per cab, not per person.

The drive to the hotel typically takes around 45 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day.

Ride-sharing services like Uber are often restricted from picking up passengers directly at the terminals, due to ongoing tensions between local taxi unions and ride-share drivers in Mexico City. For this reason, we recommend avoiding ride-sharing apps for airport pickups.

Alternatively, many hotels offer private car transfers to and from the airport. For more details and pricing, please contact your hotel’s concierge team directly.

Mexico City is full of vibrant neighborhoods with incredible culture, food, and charm. We recommend booking accommodations in areas that are central, walkable, and easy to access for the wedding weekend.

A Love Letter to CDMX

The city we love — and can’t wait for you to explore.

Dear friends and family,

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you — and even more excited that it’s happening here in Mexico City (CDMX), a place that means so much to both of us.

CDMX isn’t just the backdrop to our wedding — it’s a city we truly love. Its culture runs deep: in the food, the art, the architecture, and especially its people. There’s a warmth and kindness here that’s impossible to miss. People are welcoming, expressive, and full of life — just like the city itself.

What we love most about CDMX is its boldness. The colors are brighter. The flavors are bolder. The style is all its own; and everywhere you turn, there’s a sense of creativity and energy that’s completely unique. It’s a city that continues to inspire us — and one we dream of calling home someday.

While you’re here, we hope you’ll take the time to wander, explore, and let the city unfold for you. There’s no one “right” way to experience CDMX — just walk, taste, discover, and let it surprise you. We’re so happy this city is part of our story — and now, yours too. Below is a list of places we love, and we hope you’ll love them just as much.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you. Welcome to CDMX. ❤️

With Love,
John + Yussef
